Because of the darkness children are drawn into through their phones, they can no longer hear the toys calling out to them. On the left side, I wanted to depict the child's world darkened by the phone. The light coming from the right symbolizes hope. If the children put down their phones and listen to the toys calling them, the lights will turn on.

Kinderen kunnen het speelgoed niet horen dat hen roept vanwege de duisternis waarin hun telefoons hen overspoelen. Aan de linkerkant wilde ik de wereld van de kinderen laten zien, verduisterd door hun telefoons. Het licht dat van rechts komt, symboliseert hoop. Als kinderen hun telefoon neerleggen en naar het speelgoed luisteren dat naar hen roept, gaan de lichten aan.

Çocuklar telefonlarla içine çekildikleri karanlıklar sebebiyle, kendilerine seslenen oyuncakları duymuyor. Sol kısımda telefonla karanlıklaşan çocuk dünyasını göstermek istedim. Sağdan vuran ışık umudu simgeliyor. Çocuklar ellerindeki telefonu bırakıp kendilerine seslenen oyuncaklara kulak verirse ışıklar  yanacak.

Children can’t hear the toys that speak to them because of the darkness they’re being drawn into by phones. On the left, I wanted to show the world of children shrouded in darkness due to phones. The light coming from the right symbolizes hope. I hold onto the hope that one day the child will hear the teddy bear speaking to him.

Kinderen horen door de duisternis waar ze in worden gezogen door telefoons de speelgoed dat tot hen spreekt niet. Ik wilde aan de linkerkant de wereld van kinderen laten zien die door telefoons in duisternis gehuld zijn. Het licht dat van rechts komt symboliseert hoop. Ik koester de hoop dat het kind op een dag het speelgoedbeer zal horen dat tot hem spreekt.

Kunsthalte is a community where individuals who have immigrated to the Netherlands and have an interest in art come together both online and in physical spaces. This group serves as a platform where people passionate about both modern and traditional arts share their experiences, exchange knowledge about art, and organize various artistic activities.

Kunsthalte aims to promote the use of art as a universal tool while increasing awareness of human rights. In pursuit of this goal, it endeavors to harness the power of art to build a more just world.

### What Are the Objectives of Kunsthalte?

Considering the foundation's mission, the significance of art as a universal language is undeniable. Therefore, it is essential to recognize the value of art and bring together individuals interested in art. Furthermore, opportunities should be provided to those who wish to enhance their skills in the field of art. Ultimately, Kunsthalte aims to contribute to the reduction or elimination of human rights violations through art.

### What Can You Do?

You can contribute to the reduction or cessation of human rights violations by participating in one of the projects featured on our website. Additionally, you can engage in experience sharing or gain new skills by joining these projects. Moreover, you can support us financially by becoming a sponsor.

Kunsthalte streeft ernaar het gebruik van kunst als een universeel hulpmiddel te bevorderen en het bewustzijn van mensenrechten te vergroten. In het streven naar dit doel probeert het de kracht van kunst te benutten om een rechtvaardigere wereld op te bouwen.

Gezien de missie van de stichting is de betekenis van kunst als universele taal onmiskenbaar.
